oncontextmenu="return false;"> Intellectual Property (IP) and Library Release Auditor
Yotta's Library Release Auditor helps a company's Library Development and Release teams determine what, in a new release of internally developed Intellectual Property ('IP')  or 3rd Party IP, has changed from the previous releases and where the changes had taken place. The granularity of the audit is to the content within a layer of a leaf cell. New releases can be audited against a larger library and Yotta's technology find where the corresponding views to the new release are in use within that larger cell library.

In a matter of minutes, Yotta's Auditor can identify, index and cross-reference millions of cell views that are equivalent, partial matches, new, untested, deprecated, different cells having the same name or the same cells having different cell names. It will report changes to views of cells that were not part of the release notes. It can identify cell view's use at the library, block and chip level of a design, the number of instances and their (x,y) coordinates.

In the above diagram. two older versions of multiple cell views within a standard cell library are being compared against a new release. In the example, we're showing only one cell (Cell x) view within a LEF file. Yotta's technology can index versions of cell libraries as far back is important to the team. Yotta's Master signature database maintains a snapshot of the state of each. The signatures need only be generated once. Only are signatures generated for the newest releases and compared against the signature indexes within the master database. The database can be configured so that it not only compares the new release against its previous versions, As examples, it can compare a new a release against known deprecated, bad and untested cell views.

Today, standard cell libraries are constantly in a state of development. Yotta's technology makes certain that every change is reported throughout all cell hierarchy. Never again will there be uncertainty about what has changed and their relevance to the overall design flow. Library Development and Release teams will be able to communicate far more effectively with their design teams who will have far less doubt about what they have in use as it relates to the changes in new releases. Design project teams will be able to design more efficiently and aggressively yielding higher performance, lower power chips that are far more profitable to manufacture.
