The Company
Yotta Data Sciences is a small company out of Silicon Valley, California. It develops integrated circuit design flow optimization software for the semiconductor industry. The company was founded in August of 2004.
Yotta delivered the industry's first commercial reference implementation for the new design layout format OASIS (Open Artwork System Interchange Standard). Its addressable market spans Foundries / Fabless' / IDMs / IP Suppliers / EDA / Wafer and Mask Equipment / Mask Manufacturing at the leading edge of semiconductor technology.
Yotta's offerings have grown to include a number of industry firsts as software products in standards compliance, OASIS reference implementations, OASIS/GDSII design layout equivalence checking, OASIS Reader/Writer Source Code, OASIS/GDSII Stress Test Cases, on-premises design workflow auditing utilities, and cloud-based ecosystem workflow view and management applications.
Thomas Grebinski
Founder, Thomas Grebinski, has served the semiconductor industry his entire career. Mr. Grebinski has acted in various capacities as founder, board member, vice president Business Development and Technology, Office of the president for both private and publicly-held companies domestically, in Europe and in Scandinavia. In 1982, while at the first company he had founded, Mr. Grebinski pioneered the field of Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD) technology. In 2001, Mr. Grebinski started and led the development and deployment of the new integrated circuit design layout format, OASIS®. Mr. Grebinski holds a BS in Physical Chemistry from Michigan Technological University.
Jean-Marie Bergeal
Jean-Marie Bergeal joined Yotta to help with the development of the company's smart signature technology business. A native of France, Jean-Marie brings combined experiences in business development, finance and project management. Most recently, Jean-Marie held executive positions at Banco Santander, Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi and Bankers Trust. He started his career at IBM, working with large corporate clients. Jean-Marie holds an Engineering degree from the Ecole Nationale des Mines de Saint-Etienne, a Master of Science degree from Yale University and an MBA from New York University.
David Chapman
co-Founder, David Chapman, is a seasoned EDA developer with over 25 years industry experience. David's extensive design and design automation development experience extends from transistor level circuit design and analysis, logic synthesis, physical synthesis and physical design and verification through mask data preparation. Mr. Chapman has worked at leading industry corporations such as VLSI Technology, Compass Design Automation, and Synplicity. He has a BS in Computer Science from California Polytechnic State University and an MS in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.
